Our Powder Coated Driveway Gates must be able to hold up in all climates. For that reason we take the time to prepare the raw steel surface with a 3 step system before applying the the industry's toughest and most durable chemically bonded finishes. First, each hand-crafted steel gate and fence panel is given an abrasive medium blast to remove slag, oil or other impurities and to etch the steel. Next, we do a phosphate wash to prepare the steel for the best possible adhesion. Finally, the Powder Coat Color is then applied to the gate and baked on at high heat for a corrosion-resistant finish. Our gates and fence come with a standard semi-gloss black powder coat finish. For an upcharge we also offer Bronze, White or Spice Rust. Note: We can also provide a natural rust patina finish. We do not stock finished gates and fence in all colors at all times. Some color changes (non-black) gates may require several weeks before shipment. Please call early and plan your project accordingly.
