Most sliding gate systems only support flat gates. This is because of the way
the gate must pass through the guiding rollers. Our unique Amazing Slider
Guide makes
it easy to pass any of our designs,
including arched gates, through
the rollers and anchor the
gate upright.
Any of our driveway
gate styles can be made into a Ground
Track Slide Gate. Limit for single
slide is 18 feet for most styles. Anything over 18 ft will
require
a dual sliding gate. For Cantilever Sliding Gate, see below. A sliding gate is charged as a regular driveway gate plus an upcharge for the back frame extension.
Because sliding gates do not simply
mount onto hinges on a post, other
gate guiding equipment is necessary
for the installation including a slider
guide, v-track, v-wheels, guide rollers,
and a catch post.
Not sure if you need a slider or swing?
We recommend using a swing gate whenever possible since they are
easier to install and typically cost less. Sliding Gates, however,
have advantages in certain situations and for some installations
are the only solution. Please contact our product specialists
for help with that decision.
