Installing your Amazing Gate and automation equipment has been made as easy as possible. Thousands of DIY homeowners and building contractors have successfully installed a gate system for the first time using our gates and hardware. The only requirements are a few tools and some handyman experience.

Tools you'll need:

• Wrench
• Plumb Line and Level
• Post Hole Digger
• Shovel
• Wheel barrel

The basic steps for installation of a driveway gate are:

• Set the 2 gate posts to the correct distance apart and proper height in concrete (see the appropriate gate spec drawing in our Driveway Gates section) and make sure they’re level and plumb.
• Hang the gate on pre welded hinges and make adjustments with a wrench to make it square and level.
• Bolt on the gate operator brackets and place the operator arm on the brackets.
• Hook up access controls such as keypad, exit sensor and gate reversing photo eye. (Download appropriate Product Manuals and/or Installation Guides )
• Test the system.
